You may sign up for as little as one class or as many future classes as they become available.
$10 (per student per class)
The classes will be taught by a Chemist who holds a Masters of Science in Organic and Kinetic Chemistry, has worked in the field of Polymer Chemistry and Chemical Engineering for over 29 years, is a member of the American Chemical Society’s Coaching Program, the Education and STEM Committee for the PW Chamber of Commerce and a judge for PWC Regional Science Fairs. The instructor is also the author of the new chemistry book series: “Chemistry In My Dreams” soon to be released in September 2016.
Courses offered complete the chemistry stories and are divided into 7 classes of your choice and according to age. The sections and include:
Chemistry In My Dreams: Natural Processes (Ages 4-6)
The introduction to naturally occurring chemical processes in nature.
The Sunburn Snowman
The introduction to the water cycle.
Chemistry In My Dreams: Man-made Processes (Ages 4-6)
The introduction of the compatibility (miscible) and incompatibility( immiscible) of liquids.
Icy Popsicle Pool:
The introduction to mixing, freezing and preparing mold casts and the formation of hexagonal ice crystals.
Chemistry In My Daydreams: The Ideal Gas Law (Ages 5-6)
The introduction to changing temperatures and tools to measure heat. The proper use of measuring heat using a thermometer while learning safety in a laboratory.
Introduction to pressure and volume of gases using balloons, and air.
Monsieur Avo Gadro mole
Introduction to numbers and values as they relate to chemistry (Avogadros number and moles).
The Atom: What Am I Really? (Ages 6-8)
The introduction to atoms and their role as building blocks of matter by demonstrating the relationship between toy blocks used to build things and building atoms to create molecules. Exploring how atoms connect to form matter using visual aids and hands on models.

Skills & Abilities
The introduction of chemistry at an early age enables young minds to learn the fundamental concepts of chemistry through fun and interactive exploration of atoms, elements, and molecules at a comfortable pace. This allows the student time to develop a love for exploration which may lead to the necessary keys for unlocking their creativity and critical thinking upon which more advanced science, technology, engineering and math are built.
